The DSAM-6300 combines the JDSU patented Stealth Sweep™ technology with the
best in class combination of full DOCSIS 3.0 testing, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal
Level Meter and QAM analyzer
The Acterna DSAM is a high-speed data installer meter that increases the
number of cable modem installs per day. Using exclusive digital signal
processing and integrated DOCSIS/EuroDOCSIS chipset technology, the meter
communicates with the network CMTS to verify suitable conditions for cable modem
installation from the subscriber's location. The DSAM is also equipped with
signal level meter capabilities, including spectrum scanning for ingress
assessment and mini-scan analysis of up to twelve analog and/or digital
channels. The meter's AutoTest capability makes installations easier and more
reliabe than ever before.
The new DSAM DOCSIS 3.0 models provide the best in class combination of full
DOCSIS 3.0 testing combined with a powerful Signal Level Meter and QAM
analyzer.
