The DSP-100 enables you to certify network cabling at the touch of a button.
Based on Fluke Networks' superior digital test technology, the DSP-100 fully
complies with all current test standards. It also offers powerful diagnostic
capabilities such as the "Time Domain Crosstalk" (TDXT) Analyzer, which quickly
pinpoints subtle defects resulting from bad connections, poor workmanship, or
improper cabling. The DSP-100 CableMeter is classified by Underwriters
Laboratories, Inc. (UL) to deliver TSB-67 Accuracy Level II for the Basic Link
and Channel.
FEATURES : Simplify Fiber Testing : When paired with the (OPTIONAL)
Fluke Networks DSP-FTK Fiber Test Kit, the DSP-100 detects bad connections, bad
splices, broken fibers, and loss of power from bends and fiber-type mismatches.
It precisely measures power loss from fiber optic cables used in premise wiring
and LAN networks in dB with digital accuracy, and measures optical power in dBm
or W. The (OPTIONAL) Fiber Test Kit includes an Optical Power Meter (DSP-FOM), a
combination 850/1300 nm Fiber Optic Source, patch cords and a coupler. All
products feature lightweight, heavy-duty design for rugged field
use. Easy to Learn and Use : The fiber test accessories
complement the Fluke Networks instruments with the same technological leadership
and ease of use that has made Fluke Networks an industry standard. The large,
easy-to-read menus on the LCD display of the test tools prompt the operator
through each step of a fiber link test.
The (OPTIONAL) LS1310/1350 Laser Source functions as a companion to the Fluke
Networks Fiber Optic Meter (DSP-FOM), further enhancing the DSP-100's testing
capabilities. The (OPTIONAL) Laser Source also includes a 1310/1550 nm laser
light source, patch cords, ST/ST adapter and hard carrying case. Other power
optical sources are also available. Generates Complete Reports
Through a PC or Directly to a Printer : You can record and store any
combination of copper or fiber optic Autotest reports with the DSP Series cable
testers. Each test report can be assigned a unique, user-definable label, and
can be downloaded to a PC or printed directly from the cable tester to a serial
printer. Test reports contain wavelength, measured loss, loss limit, test
direction and reference level. The fiber test results may be saved in the tester
memory using a cable name of up to 27 characters.
