The Mille Luce™ Model M1000 is a technological leap in fiber optic
illuminator design. The patent pending features and performance enhancements
incorporated into the unit are tailored to meet the needs of virtually all
microscopy applications. The Mille Luce's unique optical design extends lamp
life at full brightness 5 times longer than a conventional fiber optic
illuminator.
In addition, it can satisfy the requirements of many machine vision systems.
The illuminator provides shadow free, glare free, cold illumination for many
applications including assembly, inspection, and laboratory analysis. A slide
potentiometer adjusts lamp intensity from 0% to 100%. Optional iris dimming is
available when constant color temperature is required.
