The FOS-124 is a low cost fiberoptic light source in a rugged hand-held format designed for both field and laboratory appllications. This unit offers an excellent performance/price ratio.
The FOS 124 is designed to generate a constant optical power and compensate for temperature changes. For example, to gnerate a CW signal of -18 dBM at 30 degrees celcius, the source will require more current from the battery than if the unit was operating at room temperature.
