VIS 300 video fiber connector inspection system
The VIS 300 is an extremely easy to use video fiber connector inspection system. The VIS 300 advances field connector inspection by a unique focus system. This development virtually eliminates the need to place the users hand in the same position each time for effective focus control. To inspect the backplane connector the user simply inserts the probe into the connector adapter. To focus simply turn the entire probe Â¼ to Â½ turns for complete focus range. No longer is it necessary for the user to keep one hand on the focus wheel.
The VIS 300 includes a bright 3.5 inch LCD display and precision optics to provide an unmatched FOV (field of view) of 630Âµm by 440Âµm.
Extended use Lithium Ion batteries provide 8-10 hours of continuous use. When charging is necessary the included â??smart AC chargerâ?? charges the battery in 3 hours and allows the unit to continue to operate.

Stable 1310nm Laser light source used with any optical power meter for accurate loss measurements on Premise/PON or Telecom single mode fiber optic networks. Includes built in 2kHz tone generator and SC connector interface.
TP 220 used with the RP 400 series power meter provide loss measurements or 2kHz fiber identification. At the splice location the technician identifies the correct fiber by inserting the fiber directly into the RP 400 series power meter or by using the LFI-110 noninvasive fiber identifier accessory. ODM RP 450 Optical Power Meter
The RP 450 Optical Power Meter measures optical power on fiber optic networks operating at 850nm, 1310nm, and 1550nm. This easy to use optical power meter provides absolute dBm or dB loss measurements on all optical networks. The RP 450 allows the user to set the incoming signal to a â??zeroâ?? reference providing direct loss measurements.
The RP 450 provides an audible alert when the incoming signal is a modulated 2kHz tone. The companion TP 200, DLS 300 series LED or laser sources or any external 2kHz optical source may generate this incoming tone. This feature is very useful for quick fiber identification at the field location.
Use the RP 450 to check the output at the patch panel or wall outlet in the premise, telecom or broadband market. Connection to the fiber under test is made via the universal 2.5 mm adapter. The readily available CR 2 battery provides over 1000 operations for the power meter. A LO BAT display alerts the user to replace the battery.
