Operation Modes

IDSL U Interface LT-144k, LT-LOOP Modes

? Verifies Layer 1 from LT to NT

? Sends eoc maintenance commands to NT, U-repeater

? BERT either B1, B2, D, B1+B2 or 2B+D channels

? Tests to a loopback or to another test set

? Ext. clock reference from U, T1 or E1 for transmit signal

? LT-144k mode sends a test pattern and measures bit errors on the selected channel

? LT-LOOP loops the 2B+D channels at 144 kbps and measures bit errors on the selected channel
