AEMC PEL 105 Power & Energy Logger
The AEMC PEL 105 is a portable power and energy logger designed to show how an electrical system performs over time. It records key measurements such as voltage, current, power, energy consumption, power factor, and harmonics, giving electricians and facility managers a clearer picture than a single spot measurement can provide.
The logger supports a range of electrical installations, including single-phase, split-phase, three-phase, and certain DC systems. It can be used to study a building’s overall demand, monitor a piece of equipment, or establish a baseline before an electrical upgrade. By recording changes throughout the day, it helps reveal peak loads and patterns in energy use.
The PEL 105 is housed in an IP67-rated weatherproof case suited to indoor or outdoor monitoring. It can be configured and accessed through its front panel or compatible software, with USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi options for retrieving data. Its portable design makes it useful for temporary studies at different locations.
Recorded data can be reviewed in AEMC’s DataView software to analyze trends and prepare reports. This makes the PEL 105 useful for energy audits, load studies, troubleshooting, and identifying opportunities to manage electricity costs. The current sensors supplied depend on the kit configuration.
Features:
- Records voltage, current, power, energy use, power factor, and harmonics.
- Supports single-phase, split-phase, three-phase, and certain DC systems.
- Provides five voltage inputs and four current inputs for monitoring multiple conductors.
- Uses compatible external current sensors; sensor inclusion depends on the kit.
- Has an IP67-rated weatherproof case for indoor or outdoor use.
- Offers USB, Ethernet, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connections.
- Works with AEMC DataView software to review recorded data and create reports.
- Can track energy costs and peak-demand periods for load studies and energy audits.
