Anritsu MS2713E Handheld Spectrum Analyzer

The Anritsu MS2713E Spectrum Master is a handheld spectrum analyzer used to measure and investigate radio-frequency signals. Covering 9 kHz to 6 GHz, it helps engineers and technicians monitor wireless systems, identify transmissions, and troubleshoot RF problems in the field.

The analyzer displays signal strength across frequency, showing where signals occur and how powerful they are. This helps users distinguish intended transmissions from noise or interference and investigate signals that may affect communication performance. Typical applications include cellular networks, land mobile radio, Wi-Fi, and broadcasting.

Its portable design supports testing at installation sites and other locations where carrying laboratory equipment is impractical. Depending on the installed options, it also supports specialized functions such as interference analysis, tracking-generator measurements, and cellular or digital broadcast signal analysis.

The MS2713E is used for installation checks, maintenance, spectrum monitoring, and fault diagnosis. Its measurements help technicians assess RF conditions and investigate communication problems. Anritsu has discontinued the model and lists the MS2080A as its replacement, while continuing to provide MS2713E documentation and support resources.
