Corning FBC-001 High Precision Fiber Cleaver
The FBC-001 Fiber Cleaver (Figure 1) uses the score and snap method to quickly provide good quality fiber cleaves for fusion or mechanical splicing.
The least expensive of all Corning Cable Systems cleavers, the FBC-001 is adequate (≤ 2°) for cleaving fiber ends for OTDR access (through a lab splice or XYZ stage), multimode and single-mode mechanical splicing, and UniCam® Connector installation.
