Siecor X77 5000 Fiber Series Fusion Splicer
The X77 fusion splicer is used for reliable, low-loss joining of optical fibers. It is designed for all commonly used single- and multimode silica glass fibers with a cladding diameter of 125 mm and coating diameters of 250 to 900 um.
The X77 with its LID-System (LID = Local injection and Detection) enables extremely low splic losses independent of the choosen fusion process and the fiber suitability the X77 offers e.g. precise core-to-core alignment of the fibers, optimization splice process by automatic fusion-time control AFC, splice loss estimation and fully automatic operation by a press.
With the automatic fusion-time control AFC best possible splice loss is achieved even under difficult conditions.
