The EXFO AXS-120-SM1 Single Mode Compact OTDR with integrated VFL, in-line power checker and light source is ideal for FTTx network installation and troubleshooting. It is used for access-network testing (P2P), passive optical LAN (POL), CATV, hybrid fiber-coaxial (HFC) network testing, FTTA, and DAS installation. The OTDR offers 4" high-visibility outdoor touchscreen, dynamic range up to 34/32 dB, dual wavelengths 1310/1550 nm, short dead zones, automated macrobend detection, 8GB internal memory and onboard PDF reporting. The Optical Link Mapper (OLM) interprets OTDR traces automatically and provides an icon-based view of the elements on the link. The unit works in Auto or Real-Time mode for continuous monitoring and dynamic event capture. All-day battery autonomy.
