The Extech BR450W-A2 2-Way Articulating Wireless Video Borescope is a portable inspection camera used to see inside confined spaces in vehicles, machinery, and buildings. Its small camera probe reaches areas that are difficult to examine directly, helping technicians inspect internal components while reducing the need for disassembly or damage to surrounding structures.

The borescope features a 3.9 mm camera mounted on a 1.5 m probe, capturing images at 1280 × 720 HD resolution. Its two-way articulating tip lets the operator change the camera’s viewing direction inside the inspection area. This provides greater control when examining surfaces and components that a straight-ahead camera may struggle to show.

The BR450W-A2 connects wirelessly through Wi-Fi to the Extech ExView app on a compatible iOS or Android device. Users view the inspection on their phone or tablet and capture photographs, videos, and audio recordings to document findings. These records can be shared with customers or colleagues to explain a problem, support repair decisions, or keep an inspection history.

Designed for automotive, industrial, and commercial building inspections, the borescope combines a lightweight handheld body with an IP67-rated camera probe and approximately five hours of battery operation. The probe is approved for use in specified automotive fluids, including engine oil, diesel fuel, unleaded gasoline, and brake and transmission fluids. These capabilities make it useful for examining enclosed equipment and documenting conditions during maintenance and troubleshooting.
