The Fluke 670 defines a new product category of token-ring installation and network maintenance tools. The hand-held, battery operated Fluke 670 Speeds problem isolation by diagnosing the most common media and Token-Ring network problems through its analyzer-like features. The Fluke 670 is one of the only product that offers, in a single instrument, the capability to isolate cable, componenet and network problems. Not only does the 670 perform all the usual cable scan tests, including checking for a short or open cable with distance to the fault, but it also adds basic error, network and protocol statistics.
