Fluke Biomedical ESA710 Electrical Safety Analyzer

The Fluke Biomedical ESA710 is a portable electrical safety analyzer used to test medical equipment during maintenance and servicing. It helps biomedical technicians check whether a device’s electrical connections and insulation are working safely before the equipment is returned to use.

The ESA710 measures protective earth resistance, leakage current, insulation resistance, line voltage, and the current drawn by the equipment under test. These checks can reveal problems such as a poor ground connection, excessive leakage, or deteriorating insulation. The ESA710 supports electrical safety testing based on ANSI/AAMI ES1 and NFPA 99.

A five-inch touchscreen guides technicians through manual measurements and automated test procedures. On-screen instructions and illuminated connection points help show where test leads should be attached. Its compact design and carrying handle make it practical to move between work areas.

The analyzer also provides ECG and respiration simulation functions for checking how compatible medical equipment responds to test signals. With Fluke’s OneQA software, technicians can run procedures on the analyzer, record results, and synchronize test records for documentation.

The ESA710 is intended for trained technicians testing equipment in a service or laboratory setting. It combines safety measurements, guided procedures, and recordkeeping in one tool, helping teams perform consistent preventive maintenance and document the results.

Features:

  • Portable electrical safety analyzer with an integrated carrying handle
  • 5-inch color touchscreen with guided test procedures
  • Manual measurements and automated tests that can run on the analyzer without a PC
  • Testing based on ANSI/AAMI ES1 and NFPA 99
  • Measurements for protective earth resistance, leakage current, insulation resistance, voltage, and equipment current
  • ECG and respiration signal simulation
  • Ten applied-part connection posts with LED guidance
  • Built-in storage for test results and OneQA workflow integration
  • USB connections for data and peripherals; wireless synchronization with an optional Wi-Fi adapter
  • Auxiliary battery for moving between tests without repeatedly powering the analyzer off
