Standard Patch Cord Tips
These tips are for looking at patch cords(e.g., pigtails, male connectors, etc.). Currently available are two main “Universal Patch Cord”tips. One tip is compatible with 2.5mm ferrules (e.g., FC, SC, ST) while the other works well for1.25mm ferrules (e.g., LC, MU). There are also dedicated tips for looking at APC patch cords.
Standard Bulkhead Tips
These are specific tips for viewing commonconnectors through a bulkhead adapter. These tips allow you to inspect the fiber surfacelocated behind of the bulkhead (e.g., inside hardware devices or on the back side of patchpanels).
