The RIDGID SeeSnake rM200A 63658 is a portable camera reel used to inspect the inside of drain and sewer pipes. Its 200 ft (61 m) push cable lets plumbers and inspection crews view long pipe runs without digging or dismantling the line. RIDGID rates it for pipes approximately 1½ to 8 inches in diameter.

A 1-inch self-leveling camera head keeps the image upright as it travels around bends. The camera’s TruSense technology includes a high dynamic range (HDR) image sensor to reveal detail in both bright and dark areas of a pipe. TiltSense also provides information about the camera head’s angle during an inspection.

The rM200A comes with a D2A drum, which uses a 200 ft push cable and a single spring assembly. The drum can be exchanged for another compatible D2 drum when a job calls for a different cable and spring combination. Wheels, a pull handle, and built-in storage help technicians move and set up the reel on site.

Technicians use the rM200A to investigate blockages, damaged pipe sections, and other drainage problems, then document what they find with a compatible SeeSnake monitor. Its built-in 512 Hz sonde can help locate the camera head from above ground when paired with a compatible locator. The monitor and locator are separate pieces of equipment.
