Rohde & Schwarz FSC3.03 9kHz to 3 GHz Spectrum Analyzer
The Rohde & Schwarz FSC3.03 is a compact benchtop spectrum analyzer for examining radio-frequency (RF) signals from 9 kHz to 3 GHz. It displays signal strength across a selected frequency range, helping technicians and engineers see where a signal is located and identify other signals or interference nearby.
The analyzer is useful for testing transmitters, checking signal levels, and investigating unwanted emissions. Its measurement functions support tasks such as examining harmonics, AM modulation depth, and adjacent-channel leakage, making it a practical tool for RF development, production testing, service, and training.
A color display presents the spectrum, while front-panel keys and a rotary control provide direct access to frequently used settings. Adjustable resolution bandwidth helps users choose between a broad view of the spectrum and a closer look at signals that are near one another. Markers help identify the frequency and level of points of interest.
The FSC3.03 has a compact design that saves space on a workbench or in a rack. USB and LAN connections support transferring results and working with a computer, which is helpful when measurements need to be documented or compared over time.
This is the FSC3.03 version without a built-in tracking generator. For applications that require a tracking generator for swept transmission measurements, Rohde & Schwarz offers the FSC3.13 variant. The FSC3.03 is a useful choice when the main job is to view, measure, and troubleshoot RF signals up to 3 GHz.
Features:
- 9 kHz to 3 GHz frequency range for viewing and measuring RF signals.
- 10 Hz to 3 MHz resolution bandwidth for examining signals at different levels of detail.
- Measurement functions for harmonics, AM modulation depth, and adjacent-channel leakage.
- Markers and multiple detector modes to help identify signal frequencies and levels.
- 5.7-inch color display, with front-panel keys and a rotary control for setup.
- USB and LAN connections for transferring and documenting results.
- Compact benchtop design that can also be rack mounted.
- Optional FSC-B22 preamplifier for measuring weaker signals.
