Its cable-testing functions identify incorrect wiring, split pairs, broken wires, and short circuits. It also measures cable length and distance to certain faults. Suitable adapters support M12 industrial connections, while optional optical modules enable fiber-link checks.

The NaviTEK IE discovers network devices and displays information such as IP addresses, device names, and configuration details. Technicians can identify duplicate addresses or incorrect names and change supported node settings directly from the tester. This simplifies troubleshooting without requiring a laptop and specialized software.

A traffic-light health check highlights devices that may need attention. Its NETMAP comparison tool reveals changes between network scans, while an event log records problems for up to 48 hours. A device-blink function helps technicians physically locate equipment by flashing its LEDs.
