Trend Networks SignalTEK QT Pro 10G Copper/Fiber/Wi‑Fi Qualification Tester

The TREND Networks SignalTEK QT Pro is a handheld qualification tester for copper cabling, fiber optic links, and Wi‑Fi networks. It helps installers and network technicians check whether a connection is ready for service and identify problems before they affect users.

For copper cabling, the tester checks whether a link can support speeds from 10 Mb/s through 10 Gb/s, including 2.5 Gb/s and 5 Gb/s. It also provides a live wiremap and uses TDR fault location to help find wiring problems and estimate where a fault lies along the cable.

For fiber optic links, the SignalTEK QT Pro measures cable length and insertion loss using an SFP module and a loopback connection. It supports multimode and single-mode testing with the appropriate modules and accessories. A built-in visual fault locator helps technicians trace fibers and spot breaks or sharp bends.

The tester also helps diagnose active networks. It can display switch port information, run ping and traceroute tests, discover devices, and test Power over Ethernet under load up to 90 watts. Its Wi‑Fi tools show nearby access points, signal strength, channel use, and other information useful for investigating wireless coverage and congestion.

A touchscreen guides technicians through tests and displays clear results in the field. Results can be stored, uploaded to TREND AnyWARE Cloud, and turned into reports for customers or project records. Together, these features make the SignalTEK QT Pro a practical tool for installing, qualifying, and troubleshooting modern network connections.

Features:

  • Copper qualification: Checks whether cabling supports 10 Mb/s through 10 Gb/s, including 2.5 and 5 Gb/s.
  • Wiring and fault checks: Live wiremap, cable length measurement, and TDR fault location.
  • Fiber qualification: Measures fiber length and insertion loss with an SFP module and loopback connection. Multimode or single-mode capability depends on the modules and accessories used.
  • Built-in visual fault locator: Helps trace fibers and find breaks or bends.
  • Wi‑Fi diagnostics: Scans access points and shows signal strength, channels, and channel use.
  • Network troubleshooting: Includes device discovery, switch port information, ping, and traceroute.
  • PoE load testing: Tests Power over Ethernet up to 90 W.
  • Results and reporting: Touchscreen operation, storage for up to 2,500 results, and reporting through TREND AnyWARE Cloud.
