The VIAVI SmartPocket V2 OLP-37XV2 Selective PON Power Meter is a compact field tester for fiber-optic access networks. It helps technicians check optical signal levels during network installation, customer activation, and service troubleshooting. Its pocket-sized design makes it practical to carry between test points throughout the workday.

The OLP-37XV2 measures downstream power at 1490 nm and 1577 nm, allowing technicians to check GPON/E-PON and XGS-PON/10G-EPON services through a single test port. Because it measures the wavelengths separately, it is useful on networks where older and newer PON services operate together.

A backlit display presents the readings and clear pass/fail results based on test thresholds. Technicians can use those results to assess signal levels and optical loss, identify connections that need attention, and document the condition of a fiber link before completing an installation.

The meter can store test results and transfer them for reporting through its USB-C connection or Bluetooth connection to the VIAVI Mobile Tech App. With instant startup and flexible battery or USB power options, the OLP-37XV2 is designed for straightforward testing in the field.
