CONVENIENT AND TROLLEY-FREE

Unlike other scanners, the CS 3500 requires no trolley to cart from room to room. It is ergonomically designed, easy to hold and can be easily shared with a USB cable that can be plugged into computers that are already in your operatories.2 It includes two sizes of interchangeable scanner tips, which can be autoclaved multiple times and are disposable for proper hygiene and infection control.

COMFORT COMES NATURALLY

Removing conventional impressions from your acquisition workflow is a comfort in itself – for both you and your patients. There’s no longer a need to fill your patients’ mouths with impression material or to wait for the stone model to set. It’s all digital. The scanner also doesn’t require scanning powder and is compact with a slim scanner head. A reusable comfort collar provides cushioning to the scanner tip, which allows the scanner to rest on the anterior teeth during scanning while providing additional patient comfort.

OPEN YOUR PRACTICE UP TO CS SOLUTIONS

The CS 3500 works as part of the integrated CS Solutions CAD/CAM restoration portfolio, or as a standalone solution in your practice’s restorative workflow. The scanner is compatible with third party CAD programs like 3Shape, Dental Wings, and exocad, and now offers complete integration with exocad software via the patient browser in Carestream’s dental imaging software.3 It gives you the flexibility to acquire scans and design restorations in office, or send the digital impressions to the lab.

Scans acquired by the CS 3500 can be exported as open STL files, and are completely free of indexing, allowing you to freely discuss all restorative possibilities with the lab. Unlike systems that require multiple file exports for a single case, CS 3500 files are delivered in occlusion, which enables you to work from just a single STL file to achieve the best outcomes.
