Fluke 190-204 Series III Scopemeter 4 Channel 200MHz Oscilloscope
The Fluke 190-204 Series III ScopeMeter is a portable, four-channel oscilloscope with a 200 MHz bandwidth. It displays electrical signals as waveforms, showing how voltage changes over time. This allows technicians to examine signal shape, amplitude, frequency, and timing when troubleshooting industrial machinery, electronic controls, and power conversion equipment.
Its four independently isolated inputs allow users to compare signals from multiple test points, including circuits with different ground references. This is useful for examining motor drives, three-phase systems, and control circuits. The instrument is rated CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V, subject to the specified probe ratings and measurement conditions.
The 190-204-III captures detailed waveforms at sampling rates of up to 2.5 billion samples per second with two channels active, or 1.25 billion samples per second with all four channels active. Its waveform memory stores up to 10,000 samples per channel. These capabilities help reveal fast transitions, electrical noise, and disturbances that a simple numerical reading may miss.
To simplify troubleshooting, Connect-and-View triggering automatically stabilizes the waveform display. ScopeRecord captures signals over longer periods, while TrendPlot tracks measurement changes to help locate intermittent faults. The instrument also provides automatic capture and replay of 100 screens, plus FFT analysis for examining the frequency content of a signal. These tools help technicians investigate problems that occur only occasionally.
Designed for field use, the ScopeMeter combines a bright color display, an IP51-rated enclosure, and rechargeable battery operation of up to seven hours. Users can save waveforms, screenshots, and settings, then transfer them through USB or optional Wi-Fi connectivity. FlukeView-2 software supports further analysis and documentation, helping maintenance teams record findings and compare equipment performance over time.
