Built on the strengths of Trilithic's popular Model Two Signal Level Meter the new Model Two Lite has been fine-tuned to the needs of the installer and small system operator. Performing the basic signal level, return ingress and system flatness tests needed for insuring signal integrity, the Model Two Lite is the ideal basic service instrument for maintaining small community distribution systems, and systems serving resorts, hotels and other large facilities.

The Model Two Lite shares the Model Two's long battery life, operating up to six hours on a single charge and recharging in less than three hours, even from vehicle power.

Like the Model Two, the Model Two Lite is built for heavy use. Housed in a sturdy plastic enclosure, every Model Two Lite includes a padded sleeve, shipped at no additional cost.

To protect the meter when it is not in use, every Model Two Lite includes a foam rubber-padded leather zipper case that holds the meter and all its accessories.

Signal Level Measurement
The Model Two Lite offers several ways to view signal levels. You can tune to a particular frequency or channel number and display Aural and Visual carrier strength , or the power of a digital channel. For a quick view of drop performance you can display the amplitudes of up to 12 selected channels in a single view, with the calculated value of system Tilt. Concerned with amplifier imbalance or cable damage? Track down the problem quickly by scanning and graphing the levels of all channels from 5 Mhz to 870 MHz.

Return Spectrum Mode
Most ingress enters the plant through the subscriber connection. Using Spectrum Mode you can scan and measure any ingress present at the sub's ground block, all the way to -40 dBmV, before connecting the sub to your system. The Model Two Lite's 5 - 65 MHz spectrum analyzer also helps you track down ingress problems that can disrupt Internet, PPV and other two-way services.

Volt Meter Function
Working with powered drops? Troubleshooting distribution power supplies? The Model Two Lite includes a digital voltmeter calibrated for AC or DC measurements up to 105 volts.
